Your Gift of Time is Priceless in Our Aurora Office!

Your skills will be much appreciated assisting our volunteer coordinator in our Aurora office - whether it’s clerical, like filing or scanning, or if you have a specialized skill such as art, writing, advertising, or recruitment; you will be a valuable contribution to our team!

This is a weekday morning (Monday through Thursday) volunteer position available any time between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 12:00 p.m.

We also have volunteer opportunities on location in our day programs, assisting clients with lunch time activities, arts & crafts activities, coaching on computers, cooking, exercise/fitness and gardening.

Description

For 52 years, the Association for Individual Development (AID) has provided services to individuals who have developmental, physical, and/or mental disabilities, those who have suffered trauma or those at risk.

All clients have access to vital, life enriching services including: early intervention; developmental therapy; autism programs; audiology; respite care; permanent affordable housing; developmental and vocational training; job placement and on-the-job coaching services; crisis intervention; community education and advocacy.
