Road To Recovery is an American Cancer Society program designed to help improve the quality of life and reduce barriers to care for cancer patients undergoing active treatment by transporting them to and from cancer-related treatment appointments.
The Road To Recovery Coordinator collaboratively manages and monitors requests for Road To Recovery services with American Cancer Society staff partners, and works closely with the volunteer drivers to provide lifesaving transportation assistance to and from cancer-related appointments.
This volunteer opportunity can be done from home as long as you have a phone and the internet. You must be comfortable with computers and technology as this role will require you to do a lot of work in our on-line databse. Training will be provided. This role is flexible to your schedule. The time commitment is minimal so it's okay if you also have a job.
