Seeking courageous youth and young adults ages 5-25!!
Talented, Creative, Love to talk, write, sing, and be heard? Join our newly forming Christian Spoken Word and Theater Group! We are looking for those who write poetry and Spoken Word, sing, dance, act, and those who want to learn.
Professional or First timers-Welcome to join us!! All participants are encouraged to express themselves without the use of cursing, offensive or inappropriate language.
Looking for those willing to TEACH and those willing to LEARN.
ACTORS, GOSPEL RAPPERS, POETS, SPOKEN WORD ARTISTS, SINGERS ARE WELCOME TO BECOME FOUNDING MEMBERS OF THIS CITY-WIDE GROUP!!
We are looking for those who are experienced in performing, producing poetry slams and working with youth performances. We are looking for youth who want to share their voice throughout the Detroit community.
You must be willing and able to:
- Attend a monthly meeting and rehearsal at People's Community Church.
- Perform on designated Sundays, as well as scheduled events in the Detroit community.
- Work well together with youth in your age category, as well as those who might be younger or older.
YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BE A MEMBER OF PEOPLE'S COMMUNITY CHURCH, BUT WE INVITE YOU TO JOIN!!
YOU MUST BE ABLE AND AVAILABLE TO ATTEND REHEARSALS AND CHURCH SERVICES ON THE SUNDAYS THE GROUP PERFORMS.
THIS GROUP WILL REHEARSE ON SATURDAY MORNINGS!!!

Description
The People's Community Church shall be a free fellowship of Christian men, women and children dedicated to the fulfillment of Christian principles through common service for the common good. It seeks to carry out the principles of Jesus in a cooperative way in all areas of social, economic, political and spiritual life.
