ORGANIZATION: Tahoma Bird Alliance

We are looking for virtual volunteers with awesome graphic design skills to produce save-the-date graphics for use on social media and web-based platforms for a variety of events throughout the year. We would like to have these graphics ready for use three months prior to the event dates.

Upcoming graphic design event needs in order of urgency include:

Winter Open House on 12/3/16 (By Sept.3, preferably, but no later than 9/14)

48th Annual Meeting & Celebration on 2/16/17 (By Sept. 14th, strongly preferred)

Birdathon 2017 (By January 12th, rpeferred but not later than Feb.12th)

Spring Open House in April 2017 (by January 12th, preferred)

Second Sundays at Morse Wildlife Preserve (April-Oct), (by March 1st, preferred)

Please note, we may work with more than one volunteer, and select the graphic that best represents the event and our brand.

The Tahoma Bird Alliance connects people with birds, other wildlife, and their habitats through conservation, education and recreation.

Description

We strive to involve youth, families, and seniors in the discovery and protection of native habitat throughout Pierce County. We develop and offer year-round nature education programming online and at the Adriana Hess Audubon Center (University Place, WA), and at the Morse Wildlife Preserve (Graham, WA).

We organize and lead field trips throughout the South Sound. We also work to affect public policy at the city, county and state level to achieve our conservation goals.
