You can be a part of our movement! We are looking for coaches and team volunteers in your area! This is a time commitment of an hour to two hours per week to train our athletes with intellectual disabilities in a variety of sports.
The mission of Special Olympics Southern California is to provide year-round sports training and athletic competition in variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities, giving them counting opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy and participate in a sharing of gifts, skills and friendship with their families, other Special Olympics athletes and the community.
