Smiles Change Lives (SCL) is a national organization that provides access to life changing orthodontic care for children and families that cannot afford the full cost of treatment.

This volunteer opportunity will provide capacity building support to Smiles Change Lives (SCL) by generating national and regional interest for our program through online, print, radio and television media. With increased outreach to new communities, this individual will grow the potential for SCL to reach the children who most need our services while generating public support for the growing nationwide program.

Smiles Change Lives provides access to life changing, orthodontic treatment for children from low-income families whose self-esteem has been impacted by having crooked teeth and/or misaligned jaws.

Headquartered in Kansas City, MO, Smiles Change Lives (SCL) has emerged as the leader in providing access to orthodontic care for qualified and motivated youth in North America. SCL’s unique model matches children from low income families, needing orthodontic care, with over 750 SCL provider orthodontists. Since its inception in 1997, SCL has successfully treated over 6,800 children, providing healthy confident smiles.
