Join the River Parkway Trust for a River Center Docent orientation and training. River Center Docents volunteer in the Riverview Ranch House and River Store on weekends and during special Parkway events. Docents interact with River Center visitors and provide information about the River Parkway Trust, Parkway access opportunities and history of the San Joaquin River. Docents can also serve in the River Store gift shop conducting sales and interacting with trail users. This position is perfect for outgoing and enthusiastic individuals who have time to spare on weekends.

The San Joaquin River Parkway and Conservation Trust's mission is to preserve and restore San Joaquin River lands having ecological, scenic or historic significance, to educate the public on the need for stewardship, to research issues affecting the river, and to promote educational, recreational and agricultural uses consistent with the protection of the river’s resources.
