The Programs & Development Director will be responsible for researching and determining what activities and programs ynpnGNO members are interested in and will benefit from and planning events in various categories such as volunteering, networking, service, and professional development.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to gain business or board experience and enhance their resume!
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working or volunteering for nonprofit organizations
- Interest in event planning
-Interest in fundraising and development
- Marketing experience
- Supports the mission of ynpnGNO
- Interested in being a member of ynpnGNO and actively participating in organization's activities
- Able and willing to attend a minimum of one board meeting per month
- A resident of the Greater New Orleans area
- Organized
- Ability to think strategically and evaluate event success
- Dependable and disciplined
- Able to respond to emails regularly
- Previous board experience is not required
- Position is volunteer (Unpaid)
