Making reading fun and funny for children

As part of our Adopt-a-Daycare Program, South Sound Reading Foundation partners with local daycares and childcare centers to conduct story times for toddlers and pre-school aged youth. We are looking for new volunteers to lead these story times, which will consist of you reading short picture books to the kids, but you can also conduct songs/games/crafts of your choosing. Story times are a lot of fun and a great way to engage the imagination of youth and foster a love of reading at an early age. If this is something that you are interested in, please contact us and we can begin the orientation/training process.

Important note: The address listed, 200 Sleater Kinney Rd., is the location of our central office. Although this opportunity states this location, all storytime locations are in daycares in Thurston & Mason counties in the state of Washington.
