Serve your community by volunteering with the Aberdeen ReStore. Habitat for Humanity Susquehanna is looking for volunteer groups (10-15) to serve at its Aberdeen ReStore. Volunteers will be helping move donations, cleaning, and reorganizing the ReStore’s main floor. Volunteers are needed on Tuesdays from 10am to 4pm. Also, we are looking for volunteers Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 2pm to 6 pm. Volunteers can work 2 or 4 Hour shifts. The Aberdeen ReStore is flexible if volunteers need a shorter shift or longer shift.
The Aberdeen ReStore is part of the Habitat for Humanity Susquehanna affiliate. The Aberdeen ReStore takes donations of appliances, construction materials, and furniture. The donations are sold at a fraction of the cost and the profits are used to support Habitat for Humanity’s mission of building affordable homes for low income families in Cecil and Harford County. Volunteers must be 16 years or older. This volunteer opportunity is available Tuesday-Saturday. Habitat for Humanity Susquehanna, Inc. (HHS) is an ecumenical Christian housing organization devoted to building and repairing homes in partnership with qualifying families. HHS is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit supported by government, community and private funding.
HHS's vision is to eliminate substandard housing in Cecil County and Harford County, Maryland through action and advocacy.
