To collect and distribute nutritious foods, to provide education, and to network with the community to feed the hungry in Santa Barbara county.

Description

The Foodbank, through our warehouses in Santa Barbara and Santa Maria, receives and distributes almost 5 million pounds of food annually and partners with 200 non-profit organizations between Morro Bay and Carpinteria to feed almost 100,000 needy people every year. Volunteers provide over 15,000 hours of service helping to inspect, sort, organize and distribute most of the food recieved by the Foodbank.
