Please consider any time you may have. Dedicating as little as 4 hours a month to a child could make a world of difference to them. You are asked to share what you enjoy doing with a child to show them new opportunities and become a friend. As one of our mentors put it:
"I mentor because I believe there are children out there that could use a friend to hang out with. If by taking a couple hours a month to go to a movie, see a hockey game, play at the park, or anything else can make his life a little better then I’m all in. 5 years ago my wife and I became empty nesters. We miss having kids around and this is an awesome way to help a family out. In return I get a new friend to hang out with, pretty sweet deal!"

To build a relationship between a child and adult mentor who will be an advisor and friend on the journey to adulthood.
Description
We are a youth mentoring program that serves Pennington County MN. We match youth (Little's) age 4-18 with volunteer adults in their community. We ask for a minimum commitment of 4 hours a month for 12 months. The hours are felxible to a point with what will work your schedule and your Little's. Activities can vary based on your interests and your Little's interest. Some volunteer together, tutor, play games, hang out, etc.
