SSP Student with Mentor

SSP is a great fit for the busy NYC professional who wants to be personally involved in a philanthropic endeavor but with flexibility on time. We are currently looking for 350 new mentors to be paired with our incoming class of high school students this fall.

Since 1986, Student Sponsor Partners has addressed the high NYC public school dropout rate by pairing low income, academically average students with a sponsor who financially supports 4 years of high school and a mentor who acts as a friend and guide through the 4 years. In some cases, the sponsor and mentor are the same person, and in some cases it's 2 separate relationships.
