ORGANIZATION: Brain Injury Services
Please visit the new page to apply.
One or two volunteers with woodworking and DIY craft skills needed to support two adult male clients with acquired brain injury (ABI) at St. Catharines residential location. (Clients are sight-impaired so the volunteer will work closely with staff to ensure projects are fun, but safe.!)
Location is staffed 24/7 and scheduling is flexible - Day, evening, or weekend posuitn available. (Could also be a few hours once per month.)
Brain Injury Services experience provides excellent skill-building opportunities as volunteers become familiar with: limit setting; de-escalation; and professional rapport.
Please note there is a mandatory initial attendance requirement of six visits--------------------------
