Bolsa Chica Conservancy

Looking to learn new things, give back to your community, and have fun? Lead outdoor science labs and educational tours of the wetlands, work to restore this endangered ecosystem, or interact with visitors as an interpretive center host! Because of the Bolsa Chica Conservancy's small size, we have many different types of volunteer positions for all different skill sets!

Please remember to bring closed-toe shoes and water, as we'll be out walking the wetlands for about a hour during the training!

To provide services that inspire and connect all generations through community involvement and leadership in hands-on restoration and education in wetland science, watersheds, coastal ecology and environmental sustainability.

Description

The Bolsa Chica Conservancy needs volunteer assistance to maintain and enhance the habitat value of the Bolsa Chica Ecological Reserve during our monthly or privately scheduled service events. Help staff with removing non-native/invasive plants, trash, native plant installation, propagation, and seeding on a number of our habitat restoration projects.
