Citizen Schools seeks committed volunteers to join us in Chelsea Public Schools to teach STEM-related classes!
Citizen Schools brings volunteers to middle schools to teach hundreds of relevant subjects--and launch new dreams.
At Citizen Schools, middle-school students work side by side with experts to explore new fields, learn new skills, and create something real for their community.
Once a week, volunteer Citizen Teachers partner with middle schools in underserved communities to teach apprenticeships in a wide range of subjects. Teams and individuals from corporations, civic organizations, universities, and associations lead courses about things they're passionate about, exposing young people to new futures through ten weekly lessons.
Each curriculum is designed to make academic and 21st Century standards connect to careers and real life. Choose from topics like financial literacy, computer and website coding, forensics, invention, 3D Printing, math mysteries, robotics, allied health sciences, and more!
Citizen Schools calls all citizens: go teach!
