This Human Resources volunteer or intern position is available for 10-20 hours a week for a minimum of 3 months. The person in this position can be involved with a variety of projects in Human Resources with our HR manager based on the volunteer’s interest and background: 1) Review/Update Performance Appraisal Process, 2) Review Resumes for Open Positions, 3) Post Job Openings, 4) Update Job Descriptions, 5) Audit Personnel Files, 6) Sort/Shred Human Resource Files, 7) Develop Employee Training Schedule, 8) Update Web-based iSolve Payroll System, and 9) Assist with Benefit Enrollment.

Qualifications include a B.A. or M.A. degree in Human Resources, Personnel Management, Human Capital or Industrial Relations and experience as a HR Generalist. Candidates must understand and adhere to confidentiality, have good communications skills, attention to detail and work with minimal supervision.
