The objective is to integrate any static maps API with Alexa Voice Service and Twilo or similar service like NEXMO to send a text message of a link to an image without requiring JavaScript or any dynamic page loading. Static Maps API services create a map based on URL parameters sent through a standard HTTP request and returns the map as an image with pins, points of interests, driving directions, or can be integrated with IBM Watson to suggest possible places to visit or events to attend (think 2D Pokemon Go).
