EDITOR:
Position: Editor
Interlock Media, Inc.
Seeking a Co-Editor to work closely, and train with, the Senior Editor and the Director in all aspects of post-production on a highly produced international public television documentary.
Applicant should possess the ability to work independently, remain flexible and take initiative in a resource-limited environment.
Schedule : Minimum of 25 hr/wk, full time (40 hr/wk) preferred
Compensation : Unpaid/Apprentice
Location : Convenient to public transportation and Kendall Square
Job Type : Volunteer; non-profit. 4-month commitment
Experience:
Applicants must have formal training/experience on NLEs. Knowledge of Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects or compositing programs and long-format workflow is a plus. Strong story building skills, well-developed scene-edit abilities, and a solid comfort level with contemporary hardware and editing software are required.

Description
Interns participate in all aspects of film and media production, including: research writing coordination of crews participation in shoots participation in film editing scriptwriting production of print materials any task that may arise
Salary: None Qualifications:
Interns must have strong communication skills, a desire to learn, and a pro-active attitude. The following skills and experience are preferred, but not required: superior writings skills technical ability computer skills (mac platform) experience with camera, lighting, or other gear.
