If you are a Facebook expert and have experience creating a fundraising campaign on Facebook, then we really need your help.
We are a 501(3)(c) non-profit group that works to help the hard of hearing in our community. We have a Facebook page, www.facebook.com/HearingLossLakelandChapter, and we would like to leverage the fundraising features of Facebook. It is time for our annual fundraising activity and we would like to create a Facebook campaign.
Currently, our Facebook page is set up as a Business Manager page and is managed through a personal page. We are open to modifying the Facebook setup to properly manage this campaign, while still managing current functionality, namely ability to feed Facebook from our website and for Facebook to automatically feed Twitter.
Volunteer will provide us with a brief overview of the steps and proposed changes to accomodate this project. Upon approval, Volunteer to make necessary Facebook changes, create the campaign, etc. We have a 'donate' page on our website, www.hla-lakeland.org, that would be the link to page for donations, or we can set up other mechanism as needed.
Our Facebook knowledge is not strong, so we are counting on the Volunteer to bring strong Facebook knowledge. We are open to later creating similar Fundraising campaign on other Social Media, such as Google +, where we have a presence, but much less knowledge.
Finally, we have a Hearing Aid Recycling program. We would like a Facebook campaign to solicit for used hearing aids for this program, in which we give away to qualified area residents at no cost.
