Help the Kubota Garden Foundation p repare for it's Spring Plant Sale !

We need many hands to prepare for our annual plant sale. Sone of the tasks include tagging , weeding and replanting potted plants. Leave your tools at home, we got you covered! All experience levels are welcome. Shifts: Monday-Friday May 1-5 from 10-2pm.

The Kubota Garden Foundation's bi-yearly plant sales are major fundraisers for the Foundation. Profits from plant sales go towards supporting the garden with activities which includes providing free monthly public tours, special private tours, programimg , education and so much more.

The Kubota Garden Foundation, founded in 1988, is a non-profit corporation that was established to support, enhance, and perpetuate the Kubota Garden within the spirit of Fujitaro Kubota.

Description

The Kubota Garden Foundation (KGF) is a non-profit 501(c3) organization formed in 1989 to continue a partnership with the City and assure the preservation of the entire 20-acre garden as envisioned by the Kubota family. With the support of staff, KGF volunteers implement many programs and projects: conduct tours, greet visitors, help with garden maintenance, and organize publicity and capital projects to build special garden features such as the Terrace Overlook. Working with partner organizations, volunteers implement free cultural and educational events.
