ORGANIZATION: 25 IN CHANGE

Do you have a passion for food advocacy? Are you interested in trying to fix our broken food system?

25 in Change is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization that empowers communities to serve people marginalized by a broken food system through envisioning a world without malnutrition and advocating for personal and systemic changes until that happens. Over the last few years, we have had over 5,000 individual donors who have both given financially to provide school meals to hungry children around the world, and also have given up fast food for 25 days in order to start healthier eating habits and reduce malnutrition in their own communities.

Our organization is currently in the process of an exciting new phase of expansion and we are in need of a CPA to audit our financial statements for the last three years. Our financial statements and books have been organized by our own CPA accountant for the last few years, but we need an outside auditor to verify them for grant purposes. Previous experience as a CPA performing audits in a professional setting is a must, but your experience does not have to be extensive.

This opportunity requires at a minimum the ability to complete the audit, but further opportunities exist.

We are willing to provide recommendations or references after the completion of the audit and satisfactory volunteer work.

We welcome your application!

Description

25 in Change is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization that empowers communities to serve people marginalized by a broken food system through envisioning a world without malnutrition and advocating for personal and systemic changes until that happens. Over the last few years, we have had over 5,000 individual donors who have both given financially to provide school meals to hungry children around the world, and also have given up fast food for 25 days in order to start healthier eating habits and reduce malnutrition in their own communities.

We are currently in the process of a major expansion of our organization. As part of our efforts to reduce malnutrition globally, we have launched a for-profit subsidiary organization, 25 Farms, that provides farm-to-table produce directly to people's homes for below market rates.
