Mitzvah Circle Foundation needs pro bono Social Work professionals to assist with intake and assessment-related tasks. During heightened seasonal periods (back-to-school, holidays, etc.), need for assistance can spike dramatically.
The need to screen and prioritize requests is urgent. Our highly-skilled staff rely on intern and volunteer support to assist with volume during these critical times.
Volunteers must have human service experience (guidance counselors, social workers, therapists, etc.), sign a confidentiality agreement, and be able to pass a background check. Scheduling is flexible, Monday through Thursday, between 8:30 am and 2:00 pm. This opportunity is perfect for retirees!
DescriptionMitzvah Circle Foundation provides concrete help by working directly with recipients, or with referring organizations, to fulfill specific needs, especially when other assistance options are exhausted.
Mitzvah Circle Foundation joins in partnership with individuals, foundations, corporations, schools and other non-profit organizations that wish to provide community service, goods or financial support. Mitzvah Circle Foundation is not faith-based; we treat all people with kindness and compassion. We believe that changing the lives of people in need creates a better world for all.
