Help inner city children build their future! If you can volunteer at least one or two hours a week, you can change lives. Training will be provided on a step-by-step program to help these children improve their reading. We have flexible times available! If you can commit to a full school year, a child will be assigned to you, so you have the wonderful opportunity of helping and watching them improve! Contact the AmeriCorps coordinator at James Madison Elementary if you'd like to help!

Description
James Madison Elementary offers one on one tutoring for children that need to improve their reading skills. With AmeriCorps, we have a literary Coordinator that implements the STAR program.
