As a Tranquil Care Volunteer, you give support and comfort to someone nearing the end of life. Volunteers add a personal touch and are a valuable part of our Hospice Care Team. Volunteers might chat with a patient, read them a book, play popular songs from their youth on your smartphone, give the family caregiver a deserved break, or just hold someone's hand. The patients we care for are living either at home or in a nursing home. We provide full training, background check and support you on your first visit. 9 months commitment requested.
