ORGANIZATION: Community Thread

  • 4 people are interested

Intergenerational programs with Stillwater Area School District Elementary students are returning this fall! Many of our local schools are asking Community Thread participants to be a part of their curriculum this next school year. Help elementary students build their math skills in this fun and social volunteer opportunity. Both the Stillwater and Bayport Senior Center sites will be involved in elementary school programs for Cribbage playing, discussion groups, and other educational activities. You don’t have to be a cribbage pro; you just have to know the basics! Please let us know if you are interested in being part of this program or if you have any questions.

Volunteer opportunities take place at Community Thread's Bayport Senior Center and various elementary schools in Washington County. Volunteers must complete an application; we also complete a background check. Contact us to learn more about the application process today!
