Student Leadership Coach

Purpose:

To coach work directly with the Passion Impact President to implement our first afterschool Leadership Program.

Description : Passion Impact is searching for a Student Leadership Coach who has experience working with high school students in a leadership capacity. The Coach will be responsible for knowing our training program inside and out and co-leading it after school. With a keen eye for leading and evaluating, this position will demand a high level of attention to detail backed by confidence. It is important that Project Mentors not only believe in our Golden Circle, but are also invested in the students’ success. This position has potential to become a leadership position within PI if it is made successful. We work hard at PI and expect the same of you, but you also better be ready to have fun!

Required Education:

• Graduate or currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in education, leadership, or a similar field

Objectives:

• Lead half of the program
• Evaluate the entire program
• Build a comprehensive outline to implement the program in new schools
• Build and maintain positive relations with students, administration, and the school as a whole

Duties:

• Help prepare all resources and materials for each meeting with the students
• Communicate with PI officers and staff about progress of the program
• Be available via email and/or phone throughout the week to coach and provide advice to students
• Provide feedback to students to help them evaluate their progress and ways to improve the program

Experience and Skills Desired:

• Positive communication through email, phone, Skype, and face-to-face
• Professional and/or volunteer experience in marketing, fundraising, events planning, volunteer coordination, or database management
• Team player

Requirements

• Minimum Commitment of 10 weeks (dates depend on SUN schedule)
• Pass a Background Check
• Previous experience with leadership
