As a VISTA member at CCA you will help end poverty by assisting individuals overcome barriers and become job ready.

Eligibility:
- This is a one-year commitment of 40 hours a week.
- Must be 18 years of age or older and be a U.S. citizen or legal resident.
- Must pass a criminal background check
- Looking for people with solid interpersonal skills who are team-orientated, organized, reliable, committed, passionate and READY TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
- $990 a month living stipend PLUS either a $5,815 Education Award or $1,500 cash stipend
- Health Care Coverage
- Child care, if eligible
- Federal Student Loan Forbearance
- Non-competitive eligibility for federal jobs

Description
CCA was started in 1973 by seven young adults in a Bible study group committed to volunteer efforts in order to create a stronger community. Today, we continue to rely on volunteers to help us do our daily work and are blessed by the generosity of all of our many volunteers. From answering phones and assisting with mailings, to working the checkout in CCA's Food Pantry, to serving as a doctor or nurse in our health center, CCA is a wonderful place for individuals, businesses and organizations to give generously of their time, talents and compassion.
