At Catholic Social Services Migration and Refugee department, it is our job to resettle refugees and lead them to the path of self-sufficiency. The biggest barrier to self-sufficieny is adequate employment. Job training is ESSENTIAL to creating a work history for the refugees so that they can apply to jobs in the U.S. with verifiable jobs skills that came from this country.
We are looking for hiring managers, business owners, etc. who are willing to offer baisc job training at their place of work. Our clients will volunteer in order to learn job skills that will aid them in securing permanent employment.

Description
Refugees are among the world's most vulnerable and displaced people. They are individuals and families that were forced out of their homeland due to persecution or the well-founded fear of persecution for reasons of race, religion, nationality, membership in a social group or political opinion.
Our program emphasizes attaining self-sufficiency by learning English and obtaining employment of refugees.
