We are looking for someone to register our clients when they come in. They will need to check identification, address and other information. That information is then transferred to our computer data base. Basic computer skills are helpful, but training will be provided. We would like to find someone who could volunteer every Tuesday or Thursday, but a schedule of every other week could be accomodated.
The volunteer would need to be friendly and empathetic to our clients. A smile goes a long way. While we are open for 4 hours on Tuesday and Thursday, we are rarely busy the entire time. There are periods of down time in which to relax.
We also need volunteers to pick up and transport bread from our local grocery store to our facility on Wednesdays and Thursdays. A vehicle about the size of a small SUV would be needed, as well as a valid drivers license.

We are an emergency food bank serving the residents of Paradise, Magalia and Stirling City, California. Clients may come in every 3 months and receive sufficient food for themselves and their families for 3 to 5 days. We strive to provide nourishing food for all 3 meals for our neighbors in need.

We are an emergency food bank. Although small, we provide food to over 2500 families every year. Clients may come in every 3 months and receive enough food for their family members for 3 to 5 days. We are open Tuesday and Thursday from 9am to 1pm.
