An Ambassador will go out into the community and provide a presentation about BAG IT to different organizations. The primary focus will be to give them an overview of BAG IT and share with them about upcoming events and sponsor, donor and participant opportunities.
Location: Varies, depends on where the organization is meeting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct the presentation provided to the designated organization
- May assist with outreach to schedule presentations with different organizations
- Ensure all reporting data for each presentation given is collected and give to Coordinator in a timely manner

Mission Statement
Bag It reaches out to cancer patients, of any gender, age, or cancer type, at a critical time - right after their diagnosis. The information is designed to help them cope with their diagnosis, move more competently through the treatment process, empower them to become an active member of the treatment team, and transition to follow up care. Bag It provides information to people with any cancer and their families to help them cope with their diagnosis and treatment. Bag It helps Fight The Fear. Bag It will empower patients to be more involved in their care, advocate for themselves, and learn to cope with the challenges associated with diagnosis and treatment. Further, Bag It empowers cancer advocates to promote this same vision in their communities.
Description
Each year Bag It provides tens of thousands of cancer patients with the Bag It bag. This is one-of-a-kind resource includes select publications from the most respected organizations as well as a MY COMPANION GUIDEBOOK, which gives the patients a way to organize information. The Bag It bag includes information for patients with any type of cancer - at any phase of the treatment process, caregivers, and cancer advocate. These are provided at NO CHARGE to the patient. Because of this, Bag It hosts various events and fundraisers to continue helping cancer patients and their families Fight the Fear of cancer. We need all the help we can get to continue empowering and educating individuals with cancer!
