EQUESTRIAN RIDING PROGRAM VOLUNTEERS:
Lead & side walker volunteers assist riders with disabilities by leading or side walking horses during classes. Please arrive 15 minutes before the scheduled lesson
Groom & Tack volunteers groom and saddle horses before the riding classes and keep the barn and office tidy. Please arrive 30 minutes before the scheduled lesson.
Volunteers can pick their day(s) and hours and should be willing to commit to the same time period each week for the 7-week session.
Lessons are held weekdays, Monday thru Friday, at 4pm, 5pm and 6pm.

The Therapeutic Equestrian Center (TEC) is a 501 (c)(3) private non-profit organization governed by a Board of Directors, founded in 1982 for the purpose of promoting and enhancing, through the use of horseback riding, the abilities of each participant to reach their highest potential and to promote to the general public an understanding of the needs and abilities of children and adults with disabilities.
Description
The Therapeutic Equestrian Center (TEC) is an organization dedicated to providing physical, learning and recreational opportunities through therapeutic horseback riding lessons.These lessons are designed to enhance the physical, emotional and social well-being of special needs children and adults.
