The skill levels of our classes are multiplication & division, fractions, decimals & percents, and algebra & geometry. Can you tutor students at one of these levels once a week, M-Th, from 11:30 am-12:25 pm? You would be helping with students' number skills and enabling them to progress to the next level of instruction.

Help adults acquire the skills, and provide the support, to pursue education and employment goals.

Description

Minneapolis Adult Education provides free classes in ESL, reading, writing, math, basic computer skills, and transition to work and college. Classes are available in the morning, afternoon, and evening. We are part of Minneapolis Community Education, Minneapolis Public Schools.

Volunteers participate once an week, for an hour or more depending on the class. We ask for a commitment of 3 months. Service learning has a different minimum.
