Historic St. Luke's Church Museum seeks Historical Research Assistants. These assistants will provide research and writing services to the Education Department. Projects include geneaology, corporate history, architectural history, religious history, African and Native American histories, local history, Bacon's Rebellion, Anglo-Dutch Wars, The American War for Independence, The Great Awakening, the Enlightenment, Anglicanism, and more. Writing projects will generate historical blog articles based on Academic Search Engine Optimization (SEO) best practices and incorporated into the daily, 45-minute guided tour, special event, and academic symposia offerings. Previous experience conducting research while attending a 2 or 4-year college or university or acheiving graduate and post grad research is also desired. This is an ongoing need. These assistants report to the Education Coordinator.

St. Luke's Historic Church & Museum is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that does not receive any state, federal, or municipal funding, and seeks to fulfill it's ongoing mission in educating the public through interpretation of it's 17th-century historic site and educational programming through sharing the national narrative of the early-American pursuits of religious freedom and separation of church and state.
