Responsibilities:

  • Serves as an integral part of the Finance Team

  • Formats, prepares, and analyzes financial statements

  • Performs various general ledger accounting functions and ensures correct coding of accounting transactions

  • Performs various analysis duties, including:

  • Donation tracking

  • Volunteer time recording

  • Budgeting

  • Variance reporting

  • Bank reconciliations

  • Reviews the work of Staff Accountants and other team members


Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Must be a proactive problem solver, able to work independently and as a team member

  • Must have 4 - 6 years of accounting experience, non-profit experience is a plus

  • Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance

  • CPA certification required

  • Proficiency in Excel required, QuickBooks experience is a plus
