The Centennial High School Tutoring Center is an after-school, walk-in academic program for all Franklin High School students, administered through the Impact NW SUN Community School.

We are looking for dedicated and enthusiastic volunteers and work-study students who are willing to participate in a one-on-one and group tutoring environment. The Tutoring Center offers academic help in any and all subject.

We welcome tutors from every academic discipline, but tutors should be at least able to work with students on basic math, science, and English skills. The Tutoring Center also works with many ELL (English Language Learning), minority, refugee, differently-abled, and low income students so tutors must be adaptable and flexible in their teaching styles.

Commitment:
- 1-4 days per week for at least one semester (Sept 19 - June 9). Tutors will need to make at least a one-day a week commitment to the Tutoring Center.

Mon/Tues/Wed 3:15-5pm, Wed/Thurs 2:15pm-4pm

Qualifications:

Must pass a background check, be at least 18 years old and a high school graduate, have experience working with teenagers, be able to work with a wide range of students from different backgrounds, cultures and languages, be able to establish healthy boundaries with students and staff, and have a positive, engaging approach to providing academic support to high school students.

Benefits:
- Experience working in a school setting, serving with an energetic, team, and supporting and connecting with high school students.
