Volunteers have removed 25,000 pounds of trash from lakes and streams so far this year! Our one-day Riversweep makes an incredible difference in our lakes along the Catawba River. Come join us and make a difference on Mountain Island Lake!

Join Catawba Riverkeeper Foundation and volunteer for this fun and fulfilling opportunity to help keep the lake beautiful and clean! Kids are welcome with adult chaperone.

Check-in begins at 9:00AM. All cleaning supplies will be provided at your meeting site, which will be one of several locations around the Lake. We'd love for most people to kayak on the lake during the cleanup. It will be a fun way to pickup trash and socialize with friends!

Do you own a boat? Consider bringing it and registering as a Boat Captain.

Do you Paddle? Bring your kayak, canoe, dragon boat, etc. out and paddle the lake as you pick up trash along your route. Bring your kayaking group! Bring friends!
