Cuddle me!
Our volunteers help to socialize kittens, keep their environment clean and the kittens healthy! Volunteers also assist with adopt events and trapping community cats for neutering.

Are you a cat lover who wants to help homeless cats find a forever home? Are you eager to help kittens learn how great their relationship can be with humans? Do you understand the importance of care to maintain good health for cats?

If you are interested in a truly hands-on volunteer experience with homeless felines, then this is the place for you! Come and join the "teachers" of Kitty Bungalow Charm School for Wayward Cats, Los Angeles' only 100% feral cat socialization facility. Join our family and provide love and care to the felines at our Bungalow. Learn how our organization is working to end the homeless cat population epidemic by participating in TNR (Trap/NeuterReturn), the humane way to stave the overpopulation issue,

You will need to commit to a 2.5 hour weekly shift at the Charm School for a minimum of 6 months. If you are unable to work on a set schedule for this amount of time, we have additional opportunities in our organization, including TNR, Working Cat, and as a Tutor at our Charter School, a caretaking and adoption space in West Los Angeles.

About Kitty Bungalow:Charm School For Wayward Cats

Martin Luther King Jr., Los Angeles,, CA 90062, US

Mission Statement

To reduce the feline overpopulation problem in South Los Angeles through the proven Trap-Neuter-Return program coupled with the socialization and adoption of the felines we catch who are eligible for Charm School.

We are dedicated to the rescue, socialization and rehoming of stray cats in South LA. Our goal is to ramp up the Trap, Neuter, Return programs in that area and try and nip the inevitable cat explosion in the bud. If we don't do something and get people involved, the 8000 cats that will go unfixed this year will become 60,000 within the next 18 months. That is a lot of cats...

We'll work with your schedule.
