About

  • Interpreter- Volunteer Interpreters assist clients with understanding documents that are not in the client’s native language. They also translate on behalf of clients who speak languages other than English. Interpreters must pass the intake portion of the certification as well as the Volunteer Code of Conduct. AIC is also looking for ASL translators for our hearing impaired clients. Volunteer Interpreters are strongly encouraged to obtain at least Basic IRS certification to better assist in tax return completion. Your assistance will be on an as needed basis and will be in advance notification.
