Come help pull together classroom packs of supplies. This is a simple activity that is a great help to our organization. Every month we order new supplies which have to be sorted into class sets. If you like school supplies this is a project for you! Each pack goes directly to a classroom here in Alameda County.

Description
Because 3rd grade reading ability is such a strong predictor of high school graduation rates, Super Stars Literacy partners with schools in low-income communities to provide at-risk K-2nd grade students with comprehensive literacy intervention programming, helping them build the literacy and social skills that are the foundation for future learning. The SSL program consists of 1) daily after-school literacy and social-emotional skill developmet, 2) in-school reading support coordinated with the students' school-day teachers, and 3) family engagement activities designed to help parents support their child's reading development and connect families to the school.
