We offer a variety of art classes and summer camps for the artist in every child, from preschoolers to teens. Classes are offered for every interest and skill level in a broad range of media, including traditional media such as drawing, painting, and ceramics, and new media such as digital video and stop-motion animation. Classes are taught by professional art instructors and take place on weekdays in the mornings and afternoons.
Our instructors need volunteer assistants to help participants, prep materials, and assist with classroom management. This is a wonderful chance to work with a group of children in a classroom setting and experience creative curriculum designed by a professional artist. Please contact us for specific class and volunteer shift information.
Fingerprinting required for this position. Contact Grace Pegan Abusharkh, Director of Volunteer Engagement, for more information at (650) 617-3520 or grace.abusharkh@cityofpaloalto.org.
