Motivational Mentors of America Volunteer Opportunities
Motivational Mentors of America (MMA) mentoring programs use peer-to-peer mentoring with youth ages 7-17. Volunteer Opportunities for Peer Youth Mentors are currently open & will mentor the MMA Peer Youth Mentee(s) to advance in education and life. Youth who are currently Middle school through College Aged are the age requirements for Volunteers in order to participate in the program.
The Peer Youth Mentors will mentor the Peer Youth Mentee by participating in weekly planned activities to strengthen the relationship between them and improve the young person's confidence and hopefulness. Peer Youth Mentors will receive continuous training throughout the year and will participate in monthly meetings to report their progress. Each program will have a Lead Adult Mentor to monitor progress and to help facilitate activities.

Description
Founded in 2015,Motivational Mentors of America is a non-profit youth development agency providing peer-to-peer mentoring programs for children in Miami,Florida. Face-to-Face Mentoring, Virtual Volunteer Mentoring and Event/Project Volunteer Opportunitiesavailable Motivational Mentors of America Inc. is a Youth Development Out of School Program & Florida nonprofit public benefit corpora tion. The charity is recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as a charitable, tax-exempt organization pursuant to section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Motivational Mentoring branched into Motivational Mentors of America in Miami with high hopes of becomin g a state-wide and national organization, starting in North Carolina and now branching into Miami, Florida. The goal of the peer-to-peer mentoring program is to help kids develop an understanding of independence and young entrepreneurs. The program will target young children who are in elementary, middle and high schools, and have plans for future success beyond graduation. In order to accomplish its mission the out of school program will focus on the following major program service components. These services include Educational Development, Occupational Development, Post-Graduate Development, Community Service Development, 24/7 Childcare and Family Support Service, Deferred Youth Prosecution Service and Client Transportation Services.
