Day Volunteers: These positions start before Peninsula Center Library opens and usually go for a couple of hours. The daily newspapers are logged and filed, magazines are put in circulation or filed back. Library materials left out from the night before are re-filed. You work with the Circulation Dept. to make sure the library is ready to open for the day. Opportunity is available during the weekday and Saturday mornings. Note: This is a good volunteer opp you can do with a friend!

Libraries offer a variety of skilled volunteer opportunities to make a meaningful contribution to library programs, operations, fundraising events and other community engagement functions. Skilled volunteers have opportunities to lead projects, work with teams of staff and volunteers, learn new skills, and have fun.
