Have you heard of The Youth Tutoring Program at NewHolly?
YTP is a successful tutoring and mentoring program, focused on at-risk youth in grades 1-12. Tutors in our program inspire children to view academics from a different lens, helping them improve grades and boost self-esteem. Consider joining this team of plainclothes Super Heroes to make a difference in a child’s life.
The tutoring center is located in the New Holly community and offers programming from Monday through Thursday, in the afternoons/early evenings:
7058 32nd Ave S Suite 103
Seattle, WA 98118
Not only do we train our volunteers to be effective tutors, we provide our volunteers with the tools (such as individualized tutor plans and skill-building activities) so that you have what you need to make a difference!
Just read what our tutors have to say:
"I love working with kids and helping to make a difference."
"I always have a good time, and volunteering with YTP is a stress relief by the end of the day. My student is great and I enjoy their company."
"I learn SO MUCH from these young students."
