Do you want to:
Gain experience working with youth?
Ensure that young people with great potential go to college?
Enrich the life of a young person by sharing your wisdom and life experiences?
The Elizabeth Edwards Foundation is seeking dedicated adults to serve as Elizabeth Mentors for the 2016-17 school year. As a mentor, you would meet with a high school student 3-4 hours/monthly and participate in fun activities together, address academic and personal issues, and help your student on his/her path to college. The days and times of the meetings are flexible based on the mentor and student's availability.
Make a difference in a young person's life today!

Mission Statement
The Elizabeth Edwards Foundation is a charitable organization which will provide educational opportunities, tools and support to youth with limited resources.
Description
The Elizabeth Edwards Foundation follows the example that Elizabeth Edwards set, because everyone deserves an Elizabeth Edwards in their life, to ensure that they succeed. Our mission is to identify kids who show great potential but have limited support and resources, and give them the kind of encouragement, support and tools that they need to reach that potential. Our highest hope is that we can honor the legacy of Elizabeth Edwards' passion for positive action and compassion for others through our Elizabeth Fellows Program.
