Parkside is seeking clerical assistance in various departments. We need someone who is interested in performing general tasks such as filing and making copies. This opportunity is ideal for anyone interested in mental health, office work, or who just wants to give back to the community. We ask for a minimum of 10 hours per week.
Parkside Psychiatric Hospital & Clinic is a private, not-for-profit 71-bed psychiatric hospital and outpatient clinic, specializing in mental health and substance abuse treatment services. Our skilled, caring staff help many children, adolescents and adults suffering with all kinds of mental health or substance abuse issues. Each year, we serve nearly 2,000 adults and children in our inpatient and residential programs and maintain an active caseload of 800 outpatients.

Description
Parkside was founded in 1959 by Herman P. Taubman and other concerned community leaders with a vision for comprehensive mental health care delivered with excellence and compassion. Initially only outpatient services were offered. In 1971 and in response to the needs of the community, Parkside opened its own hospital. In 2002, a little more than 30 years later, Parkside opened its first residential treatment program for adolescents. In 2004, acute, hospital-based services were made available to adolescents. An expansion of Parkside's residential treatment program for adolescents was completed in 2007. In 2008, Parkside expanded its services again by opening a children's residential treatment program. In 2011, Parkside opened children's acute hospital services expanding the ages served for inpatient treatment to as young as six.
