Bi-weekly Monday Evening Support Groups begin with a sit-down meal. This opportunity creates a communal atmosphere that is very important to grieving families, as well as eliminates barriers to attending.
Meals do matter! This is an excellent opportunity to volunteer as a family!
Community members, local businesses, corporate teams, or church and civic groups are frequent supporters of the Michael's Place meal portion of our support group evenings.
Time commitment is from 4:45 - 6:15 on scheduled Monday evenings.

Michael's Place provides support and advocacy for children, teens, and individuals grieving the death of a loved one, and educates the community on the impact of grief.
Description
Michael's Place is a grief support center for children, teens, and individuals who are grieving the death of a loved one. All services at Michael's Place are provided free of charge. Programs include bereavement support groups for all - ages 3 yr & older; activities at our Family Support Center; Robin's Nest-an activity -based program for youth; school-based support; and special community events throughout the year.
