With its blend of art, food and music, the Downtown Festival & Art Show has been recognized as one of the top 200 shows in the nation since 1996. On Saturday, Nov. 19 and Sunday Nov. 20, volunteers are needed for booth sitting (greeting and relieving artists for breaks), Children’s Imagination Station (painting, mask design, sidewalk chalk drawing, puppets, button making, sculpting), Artist Check-in, Jr. Fire Fighting Challenge (children’s obstacle course) and more.
To volunteer, complete the Volunteer Application and sign up for a shift (4 or 5-hour shifts) and indicate whether you would like to volunteer on Saturday or Sunday.

Description
The Parks, Recreation and Cultural Affairs Department manages over 3,200 acres of parkland with numerous cultural, recreational, and natural areas and facilities. In October of 2013, the Department became one of 119 agencies in the country to be fully accredited by the Commission for Accreditation of Park and Recreation Agencies
