Description

Lutheran Social Services of the Southwest (LSS-SW), a 501 (c) (3), not for profit public charity established in 1970, is a state-wide, multi-faceted human service agency. LSS-SW provides a full-range of health and human services following our mission of "Showing kindness, doing justice and serving those in need." LSS-SW provides services through four organizational divisions. We promote dignity, independence and quality of life for adults through our Senior Services Division. Community, Family & Congregations offers a full-range of human services programs through its mission to meet the complex needs of children, families and adults in communities throughout Arizona. Multi-Cultural Services Division welcomes refugees and political asylum-seekers through provision of services with a goal of self-sufficency for refugee and asylee families. Disaster Services works to prepare and respond to the urgent needs of the survivors of natural and human caused disasters throughout a four state region which includes Arizona, southern California, southern Nevada and Hawaii.
