BECOME A MEMBER OF OUR DOCENT TEAM
San Xavier Mission is seeking volunteer docents. Upon completion of the training program, docents will give tours and share the history of the Mission with visitors from around the world. Everyone is welcome.

Join us on October 12th to learn about the Mission’s docent program. If you’re interested in Mission history and the Southwest, this is an excellent opportunity to meet new people and become a tour guide. The docent program includes regular meetings with educational speakers, artists, and features travel opportunities with other docents.
Patronato San Xavier is a non-sectarian 501(c) 3 non-profit organization founded in 1978. The Patronato’s main purpose is to promote the restoration, maintenance and preservation of the Mission. In 2011, the Patronato started a successful free tour program at the Mission which is one of the finest examples of Baroque architecture in the United States.

Patronato San Xavier is a nonsectarian, nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization founded by Southern Arizona community leaders in 1978. The Patronato’s only purpose is to promote the restoration, maintenance and preservation of Mission San Xavier del Bac, a National Historic Landmark near Tucson, Arizona.

The Patronato offers a volunteer docent program open to everyone. Your only qualification is your love of the art, architecture and history of Mission San Xavier del Bac.
